Administration Officer – Programs, Engagement and Partnerships

Role Purpose
To provide high level executive, project management and administrative support to Program and Engagement and Partnerships Teams ensuring day to day operations are effective and that the portfolios are able to achieve key strategy and operational outcomes.

Selection Criteria
Essential
• Extensive administrative experience including at least 2 years working at executive level with senior executive teams.
• Ability to develop a comprehensive working knowledge of program areas to be provided administration and project support.
• Excellent oral and written, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in executive standard secretariat duties.
• Ability to work cooperatively and flexibly to fulfil individual and team performance.
• Highly developed organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise and ontrol own workload to achieve outcomes within prescribed timeframes, both of which may change with short notice.
• High level of initiative particularly with regard to continuous improvement and innovationaround business processes.
• High standard of competency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• High level attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications in Business Administration.

Desirable
• Experience in community services or the not-for-profit sector.
• Experience working within WH & S principles in the workplace.

Breaking the Silence Schools Program Officer

Role Purpose
This role provides support to White Ribbon Australia’s Breaking the Silence Schools Program (the Program). The Program is an award-winning professional development program for principals and senior teachers that supports them to embed models of respectful relationships in school culture and classroom activities. The Program supports schools to build on initiatives, policies and curriculum to promote the school as a respectful centre for education, safe workplace, and as a vehicle for community culture change.

Selection Criteria
Essential
• Demonstrated experience in program coordination.
• Experience in program administration and capacity to deliver targets according to project schedule.
• At least 2 years’ proven capacity in relationship management with a range of stakeholders. Excellent presentation/group facilitation skills.
• High level of verbal and written communication skills that can be tailored to a wide range of audience.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and forge connections and collaborative partnerships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds that enhance organisational goals.
• A commitment to inclusive practices that enhance access for people from CALD or ATSI backgrounds to services and participation in national campaigns.
• Ability to prioritise and work collaboratively and flexibly to fulfil individual performance targets/expectations.
• Highly developed organisational and time management skills; high level of initiative.
• High level attention to detail.
• Ability to work cooperatively and flexibly to fulfil individual and team performance.
• High-level competency in Microsoft Office and data management.
• Willingness to work outside of hours and travel inter and intra State.
• Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Management or equivalent.

Desirable
• Experience in community services or the not-for-profit sector.
• Experience in or sound understanding of the education sector.
• An understanding of WH&S principles in the workplace.
• Other related qualifications eg. Communications.

Executive Manager – Ambassador and Advocate Portfolio

Role Purpose
• Providing values based operational direction and leadership to the Ambassador and Advocates team to ensure alignment with the needs of the organisation in driving the prevention of men’s violence against women and delivery of services to stakeholders.
• Ensuring the alignment of the Ambassador and Advocate Programs to facilitate the achievement of White Ribbon Australia’s organisational vision, core values and the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
• Support the further development of innovative and inclusive strategy and leadership to ensure the Ambassador and Advocates program expands its current community engagement position of men engaging with men, to a more formal and strategic recognition of women’s engagement and influence within the wider White Ribbon Australia Campaign through the Advocates Program.
• Providing effective intelligence to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management Collegiate to assist in positioning White Ribbon Australia politically, strategically and across the prevention sector and in mitigating risk.

Selection Criteria
Essential
• Minimum 8 years’ experience and demonstrated achievement in a related management role reporting to a Senior Executive/CEO and working with a Board.
• Demonstrated ability to forge and maintain strong and collaborative partnerships that enhance organisational capacity and sustainability.
• Commitment to achieving high quality, strategic and innovative results.
• A passion for gender equality and influencing social justice issues to achieve gender equality.
• A commitment to leading inclusive practices that enhance access to programs for people from CALD or ATSI backgrounds.
• A sound understanding of the nature, incidence and prevention strategies involved in addressing men’s violence against women and. Critical is understanding these within a feminist framework.
• An appreciation of the opportunities and limitations in utilising volunteers as part of a service delivery or business model.
• Superior oral and written, relationship management and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly to fulfil both individual performance and lead team performance.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Policy or equivalent.

Desirable
• Experience in community services or the not-for-profit sector.
• Experience working within WH & S principles in the workplace.
• Other related qualifications eg. Management.
