It was a busy time for sport and White Ribbon this month.
In Victoria on the 8th and 9th July, Montmorency Football and Netball Club dedicated their Charity Game to White Ribbon and beyondblue. This was a weekend filled with fundraising and awareness raising activities, where families and all members of the public were encouraged to attend and support two organsiations, White Ribbon and beyondblue.
On the Friday before the big game, Montmorency held a business luncheon where White Ribbon Ambassador Luke Brennan from the AFL spoke about the issue of violence against women.
On Saturday families enjoyed rides, face painting, jumping castles, raffles, auctions to raise funds for the foundations and a sausage sizzle before the main event when Montmorency took on North Heidelberg. Both the Magpies and Bulldogs sported specially designed jerseys for the occasion, as shown below.
