The 2011 NSW Parliamentary White Ribbon Lunch Day was once again kindly hosted by The Hon. Marie Ficarra MLC and Cr. Vincent De Luca OAM.
125 guests marked White Ribbon Day at the fundraising lunch which focused attention on the message of the Campaign as well as enjoying a two course lunch whilst listening to the sounds of Baritone Dr Andrew Kennedy and pianist David Miller.
Guest speaker, Phil Gould, NRL legend, spoke of his continuing support for the White Ribbon campaign and the importance of incorporating the White Ribbon message as part of the training of new recruits.
NSW Premier, The Hon. Barry O’Farrell MP, spoke of the importance of the NSW Government’s commitment to the issue of the prevention of violence against women and children and of his government’s response through enhanced service provision.
