Off the coast of Karratha, 170 men on board the offshore vessel 'Hermod', owned by Heerema Marine Contractors, took the White Ribbon oath on or before 25th November.
Heerema Marine Contractors are very proud and happy that these men, in such a male dominated environment, have vowed never to be violent or silent when it comes to abuse of women, or indeed to violence in general. "We hope their example will cause a snowball effect, encouraging men everywhere in Australia to adopt and maintain a respectful attitude towards women."
