MEDIA ALERT – 21 November, 2016

Northern Beaches White Ribbon Day Walk 23rd November 2016

The Northern Beaches Domestic Violence Network is hosting the first White Ribbon walk starting at Queenscliff Surf Club to the Corso Manly. Breakfast provided by The Lions Club of Manly, for a gold coin donation.

The general public are asked to wear a white t-shirt and walk along the beach front together as a community to raise awareness around Domestic and Family Violence on the Northern Beaches.

White Ribbon Australia is dedicated to ensuring men are active advocates for changing the social norms, attitudes and behaviours that are at the root of men’s violence against women. We engage men to stand up, speak out and act to influence the actions of those men that perpetrate violence and disrespect, demand change and drive gender equality.
