FULL INTERVIEW is now available here

This White Ribbon Night, we are honoured to be joined by Rosie Batty, former Australian of the Year and Special Adviser on gender equality to the Victorian Government’s Inclusivity and Intersectionality Team. Rosie will be in conversation with Brad Chilcott, White Ribbon Australia's new Executive Director.

In this wide-ranging discussion we will explore how we can be most effective in eliminating gendered violence in this new chapter of White Ribbon Australia. Brad will be asking Rosie to share her thoughts about what has worked well in the past, what we should consider for our future and how we can build collaborative relationships with others to reduce violence and advance equality together.

White Ribbon Australia is committed to listening to and learning from the many passionate organisations and individuals who have supported the cause for many years, from the women’s movement that has been fighting for equality and safety for decades, from frontline women’s safety services, from those who work in men’s behaviour change initiatives, from academics and from victim-survivors as we collectively and individually take action to create a future free from men’s violence against women and children.

We know our movement is about #MoreThanAPledge. We are ready to listen, learn and act with communities across Australia to #EndGenderedViolence.
