White Ribbon Night
Friday 31 July 2020
White Ribbon Night is held on the last Friday in July. This year we are holding a special webinar in the evening, with Rosie Batty in conversation with Brad Chilcott.
Invite your friends, work colleagues and family to participate in whatever way is appropriate in your location in regards to current COVID-19 restrictions. As this will be an online conversation, you’ll be able to participate from your individual device or in a socially distanced group sharing a big screen. If you’d like to make your event a fundraiser, please visit the fundraising section of our website, or instead partner with your local women’s safety service.
White Ribbon Day
Friday 20 November 2020
White Ribbon Day is held on the last Friday before 25 November every year in Australia. This is a time where communities come together to stand up, speak out and act, and say ‘no’ to gendered violence in Australia.
Globally, the 25th of November is the UN’s International Day for the Elimination of Men’s Violence against Women, which is the largest violence against women campaign and kicks off the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.
