Diversity Intern Position (PT)

White Ribbon Internship (Volunteer Position-Diversity and Inclusion)

 Part time: 2 days per week 10am to 4pm
Duration: 12 weeks with possible extension

Location: North Sydney

Purpose: Engaging men to make women’s safety a man’s issue too.

Role Purpose:

White Ribbon Australia is seeking individuals who would like to undertake a voluntary internship with an organisation committed to the prevention of men’s violence against women. Internships will be appointed to various portfolios to assist with data management, research and general program implementation.

Accountabilities:            

  •  Awareness and understanding of Diversity
  • Provide administrative and project support to the White Ribbon Diversity and Inclusion Program.
  • Support the organisation of workshops, community forums and other awareness and educational initiatives to drive positive cultural change amongst diversity groups e.g. CALD and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, young people, elders, people with disability and LGBTIQ+ communities.
  • Assist in the coordination and development of culturally appropriate resources.
  • Ensure currency of the program by researching relevant and successful programs – nationally and internationally and making recommendations to incorporate them in White Ribbon Program.
