16 Days of Activism

The Greater Shepparton Family Violence Prevention Network encourages all members if the Greater Shepparton Community to support the 16 Days of Activism campaign. It commences from the 25th of November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) until the 10th of December (Human Rights Day). During the campaign, there will be events for all ages.
Throughout the 16 Days of Activism, local cafes and businesses will be selling coffee in cups that have family violence prevention messages printed on them, to raise awareness for the campaign. Students from local secondary schools can submit artwork up until the 1st of November, to be displayed at the Eastbank centre.
Please join us for the White Ribbon Park Run on Saturday the 25th of November around Victoria Park Lake – please note that you may walk or run. There will be a guest speaker opening the event at 7.45am followed by a free breakfast after the run. On Wednesday the 22nd of November there will be a media launch and exhibition of local students artwork at the Eastbank Centre starting from 11am.
To close the 16 Days of Activism, please join us at the closing BBQ to be held at Fairley’s IGA Shepparton, between 11am and 1pm on Friday the 8th of December.
