Prevent men’s violence against women

Community Event

Broome White Ribbon Day Gala

26 November 2016

18:00 - 23:30
Broome Civic Centre, Hamersley Street, Broome, Western Australia, 6725

Come and join us at this Mango Festival event and celebrate our milestone 5th year of Supporting a Safer Community. So far this event has raised more than $80,000 for the local community and the national White Ribbon campaign.

In 2016, we will reach $100,000 with your support. Look forward to a delicious three course meal and excellent live entertainment in the air conditioned comfort of the Broome Civic Centre. Grab a drink from the very reasonably priced bar run by the Rotary Club of Broome (profits will be distributed back to the community) and make a bid on some of our very attractive and generously donated auction items, or try your luck with one of our raffles.

You may even be a lucky door prize winner! We are so pleased to have local big band Miss Behave & the School of Funk back with us this year- bring your dancing shoes. All profit from our auction and raffles will be donated directly to local Broome services that work to address issues associated with violence in our community, as well as a portion being donated to the National White Ribbon Campaign to address issues on a national level.

This year we are donating to Men’s Outreach Service and Marnja Jarndu Women’s Refuge. You are supporting a safer community just by attending and having a fabulous night of fun! Proudly sponsored by Legal Aid WA, Rotary Club of Broome and the Lions Club of Broome.
