Canberra 5 Peaks in 5 Hours for White Ribbon

One in 5 Women in Australia has reported been the victim of some form of domestic abuse with one woman dies every week in Australia as a result of an attack from their male partner.

This event signifies that one / five statistic

LCDR Delo has been a White Ribbon Ambassador since 2011, and this challenge signifies not just the scale of the social problem but that it may be an uphill battle, we can all raise awareness and offer support, and that it takes effort to make a difference.

LCDR Delo is also a Cancer Survivor and, at 55, wanted this to challenge others to get active and get involved, speak out and take action against men’s violence against women and in support of the victims.

The journey takes in 5 well known peaks around the ACT and culminated at Gibraltar peak.
