Krazy Cruisers Bicycle Club White Ribbon Ride 2018
25 November 2018
On November 25th the Krazy Cruisers Bicycle Club Brisbane will be hosting “The 2018 KCBC White Ribbon Ride”.
The ride will take us from Riverside Drive at South Brisbane to New Farm Park and back again. It will be an easy pace and nobody will be left behind. We will also be on Bicycle paths for 99% of the ride so there will be very little interaction with other traffic.
Although KCBC is a club based around Beach Cruiser, Dragster, Chopper, Low Rider, Trikes, Custom and Muscle type bikes, this event is open to any bike. If you’re into BMX, Road Bikes, Fixies, Mountain Bikes etc… you are all welcome to join in. If you dont have a bike, borrow one or sign up to use the bikes that the council provides.
We plan on spending about two hours at New Farm Park to have a bite to eat and maybe a few games, so if you want to get involved but dont want to or cant ride, we will be at New Farm Park between about 11am and 1pm. Depending on confirmed numbers we will have a sausage sizzle to raise some money to donate.
The starting point is on Riverside Drive at South Brisbane where there is plenty of parking along the river. Once you unload your bikes, head towards Southbank and you wont miss us. We will meet at 10am and plan to get going at about 10.30. We will stop at Southbank for a quick toilet stop and then continue on through Southbank, over the Goodwill Bridge and through the Botanical Gardens. From there we will ride through Riverside and along the river to Newfarm. We will return via the same route and plan to leave at New Farm Park at 1pm so we will be back at the meeting point by 2pm.
Save the date and more info will be posted as we draw closer to the date.
