Stand Up, Sing Out Sydney! Be part of a 1800 person choir standing up and singing out against DV.

This an event that unites the community through singing in harmony together. Men, Women and children from all over Sydney will combine together in this extraordinary inaugural event that will involve the workshopping of two songs with special guests Christine Anu and Lior Attar.

The learning of these songs will culminate in the filming of a video for YouTube that is used to increase awareness for Domestic Violence and promote the benefits of singing. Members of the mass choir will pay a registration fee to be involved in the event and all proceeds will be donated to White Ribbon.

Stand Up, Sing Out Sydney! is literally that…. Standing together as a community and singing out for a cause that is dear to our hearts. This event ties in with White Ribbon Day (celebrated on the 25th November).

This event is hosted by Hummingsong Community Choirs who are a network of women’s choirs based on the North Shore and Northern Beaches of Sydney with close to 300 singers. Through performances Hummingsong have raised over $78K which has helped fund two local women’s refuges in Sydney.

This event will disrupt the world with beauty and we are hoping that this event will become an annual celebration of community. To book tickets please click here and to register your involvement in the mass choir please visit for further details.
