White Ribbon Night

26 July 2018

Time
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Venue
Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, 19 Davey Street, Hobart, Tasmania, 7000

‘Black and White’ themed White Ribbon Night held at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) in their Central Gallery – which can cater to 300 guests. The event would be open to State Service employees and their families. Guest speakers will possibly include: Will Hodgman (Premier of Tasmania), Jenny Gale (Head of the State Service), Kim Evans (Secretary, Department of State Growth), Darren Hine (Tasmanian Police Commissioner) and was hoping to add a high-profile ambassador such as Andrew O’Keefe to boost numbers and encourage media coverage. This event would be led by State Growth but involve the Tasmanian State Service as a whole. Other than the guest speakers, some thoughts of activities would be a “human ribbon”, a giant white ribbon installation to write messages on a large white ribbon.
