Prevent men’s violence against women

Accredited White Ribbon Workplaces

The below organisations are now officially recognised by White Ribbon Australia as pioneers in contributing to national cultural change to prevent and respond to violence against women, using workplace practices.

Over 18 months these organisations have demonstrated effective leadership, resource allocation, communication, HR policy development and training to create a safer and more respectful workplace, supporting employees to be respectful across all spheres.

Organisational evidence has been independently reviewed by external assessors who are experienced specialists across organisational development, gender equity, health and organisational development.

Branding as a ‘White Ribbon Workplace’ is exclusively available to organisations that have supplied documented evidence in practice against White Ribbon Australia’s Workplace Accreditation Framework. In most cases organisations have submitted hundreds of documents, including HR policies, training records and communications to showcase evidence in practice.

As with any change the efforts must be sustained and ongoing. The application for re-accreditation in 36 months must evidence an ongoing commitment to this journey.
